Risk Management

Risk Management identifies, assesses, and remediates endpoint weaknesses via security risk scans (on-demand or scheduled via policy), taking into account a vast number of indicators of risk.

After scanning your network for indicators of risk, you will gain and overview of your network risk status through the ASM dashboard, available from the main menu. You will be able to resolve certain security risks automatically from GravityZone Control Center, and view recommendations for mitigating endpoint vulnerabilities.

Components

Risk Management is dependent on the following components:

  • GravityZone Control Center

  • Security agent (Window, Linux & macOS)

Configure Risk Management

To start using this feature, follow the steps below:

View Risk Management activity

  1. Run risk scan tasks on your endpoints:

    • On demand - by selecting the endpoints from the Network page and send a Risk Scan task from the Tasks menu. Learn more

    • Scheduled - by configuring from policy a risk scan task that runs automatically on target endpoints at a defined interval. Learn more

    After the risk scan has finished successfully, GravityZone calculates a risk score for each endpoint.

  2. Access the ASM dashboard page to obtain the overall company risk score, score evolution, and risk scores and statistics grouped by category.

  3. Analyze and mitigate the discovered risks. For more information, refer to Managing risks.

  4. Access the Companies view page for an overview of the risk score of all the companies under your management. For more information, refer to Companies view.

Important

We recommend running a risk scan tasks on your endpoints at least once per week.
