Licensing
To add a GravityZone Mobile Security license in GravityZone follow these steps:
Log in to the Control Center with an administrator account.
Click the
user icon in the upper-right corner of the console and select My Company.Go to the Licensing tab.
For pre-paid licenses follow the steps below:
In License usage details section, click Add product. The Add new product window appears.
Type in your GravityZone Mobile Security key and select Check validity.
Click Add product.
Note
If you have a monthly subscription contact your partner to acquire the GravityZone Mobile Security license.
Log out and log back in to Control Center.
The GravityZone Mobile Security page is now available in the index on the left side of the console.
Note
Usage is calculated differently in the Mobile Security console and in GravityZone, so the values shown in each platform may differ.
GravityZone aggregates usage data from the Mobile Security console once per day at 00:00 GMT and updates the license seat count accordingly. As a result, the Usage breakdown column on the Licensing page reflects only the mobile devices that were active on the previous day. Devices activated during the current day are counted in the next daily calculation cycle.
Devices that were not active on a given day are not counted for that day, even if they are still visible in the Mobile Security console.
For example, GravityZone may show 2/100 seats in the Usage breakdown, while the Mobile Security console shows 10 active devices. This means that only 2 devices were active on the previous day, while the Mobile Security console also includes devices that were active earlier or activated during the current day.
Provision GravityZone Mobile Security Accounts
Log in to the Control Center.
Go to the GravityZone Mobile Security page.
Choose a managed company and click Create Account under the Action column.
A GravityZone Mobile Security account is created for the selected company.
Note
To open a GravityZone Mobile Security console associated to a managed company, click Open console under the Action column.
License expiration
A notification is sent 90, 30, 7 days, and also one day before the license expires. The notifications will include company information, product names, expired license keys, and useful URLs.
Important
You must have Manage Company right to view this notification.
Deleted or expired GravityZone Mobile Security licenses
License expired – The access to the Mobile Security console has been revoked, resulting in the lack of threat visibility and configuration modification.
License deleted – You are no longer protected, and all data associated with your license is deleted.
Note
The auto deletion feature activates 60 days after the expiration date.
