About
Bitdefender GravityZone is an enterprise security solution that helps organizations to achieve the best protection and performance for their business needs. Control Center, a centralized security management console, allows administrators to remotely install and manage security for any endpoint, in any location and environment. A local agent called Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools (BEST) is installed on each endpoint.
HaloPSA is a Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT service businesses. It provides a centralized system to manage service delivery, business operations, and customer relationships. The goal is to increase efficiency, improve visibility, and streamline workflows for IT teams and service providers.
The two solutions work together through our HaloPSA standalone integration app, allowing Managed service providers (MSPs) to automatically create tickets and billing procedures for their customer companies, based on security services delivered by Bitdefender.
Main features
The HaloPSA integration allows the following actions:
Connecting Bitdefender GravityZone to a HaloPSA tenant account. Configuring a new integration within GravityZone by providing your HaloPSA tenant account details (URL and Client ID).
Client mapping existing GravityZone companies to your HaloPSA clients, enable for each mapping the billing and/or ticketing service. Each mapping shows a status if any events (issues) have been detected that need your attention.
Setting up the billing service. This functionality is reporting to HaloPSA the number of active protected endpoints and available add-ons for each managed GravityZone company with a monthly subscription. Based on these figures, HaloPSA can determine a price and issue a recurring invoice template for each managed HaloPSA client, at the end of the month. For this functionality to work, an Item has to be defined in HaloPSA for each managed client or use the global Billing setting.
Setting up the ticketing service. Once configured within the Bitdefender integration wizard and enabled on HaloPSA mappings, tickets are automatically created in HaloPSA for the following types of events:
Advanced Anti-Exploit
Advanced Threat Control
Antimalware
Antiphishing
Endpoint Detection and Response (with custom severity thresholds)
Firewall
Web Traffic Scan
Sandbox Analyzer
Ransomware Detection
Network Attack Defense
