The Security for Mobile sensor
The Security for Mobile sensor processes mobile device events collected from GravityZone Security for Mobile.
Security for Mobile sensor prerequisites
To have an active Security for Mobile sensor integration, make sure the following requirements are met:
An active Security for Mobile license
An active license that contains the eXtended Detection and Response (XDR) feature
The Mobile Security console is provisioned and active
When all requirements are met, the Security for Mobile sensor integration automatically becomes active. You can view it in the Sensors Management grid.
Setting up the Security for Mobile sensor
To have an active Security for Mobile sensor integration, follow these steps:
In the Configuration > Sensors Management page, select Add new to integrate a new sensor.
Select the Security for Mobile sensor and click Requirements.
On the Sensor setup page, check the prerequisite steps and make sure you complete them.
After fulfilling the requirements, the new integration will be available and active in the Sensors Management grid.
Deleting the sensor integration
If you delete the sensor integration, it will be removed from the Sensor Management list and the sensor will no longer process data.
To delete a sensor integration, follow these steps:
Select the integration from the Sensors Management grid.
The Details panel is displayed.
Select Delete and confirm the action.
