Warning
On macOS, if the Custom permission is selected for a specific device class, only the permission configured for the Other subcategory will apply.
On Windows and macOS, Device Control allows or denies access to the entire Bluetooth adapter at the system level, according to the policy. There is no possibility of setting granular exclusions per paired device.
To avoid misconfiguration, we recommend reviewing the list of network adapters displayed by the operating system before applying Device Control rules. This view offers a clear breakdown of all detected adapters, both internal and external, affected by the Network Adapter category. On Windows, you can check this information in Device Manager. On macOS, use System Information or run the following command in Terminal:
networksetup -listallhardwareports
