Uninstalling BEST when the uninstall password is lost

To uninstall the Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools agent when the uninstall password is lost or forgotten, follow these steps:

  1. In Control Center, go to the Policies page.

  2. Select the policy that is applied to your target endpoint.

  3. In the General > Settings section, set a new uninstall password.

    Alternatively, if the policy is applied only to the target endpoints, you can disable the password.

  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

  5. Uninstall the agent from the endpoints. For more information, refer to Uninstall endpoint protection.
