MDR onboarding for Partners

This section covers all steps you need to get started with your MDR service and prepare your company to oversee and manage Customer companies protected by MDR.

To onboard to MDR as a Partner, follow these steps:

  1. Enroll in the MDR service and access the MDR portal for the first time.

  2. Create and develop your multi-tenant MDR hierarchy.

  3. Ensure that all endpoints across the Customer companies you manage have the security agent installed with both the EDR Sensor and Antimalware modules included. For detailed information on installing the security agent on endpoints, refer to Install security agents - standard procedure.

  4. Ensure that the policies applied to the protected endpoints within the Customer companies in your management follow the minimum recommendations here: MDR recommended policy.

  5. In the MDR portal, you can now configure settings for your own organization and for any companies you manage. For example, you can:

    • Add emergency contacts

    • Edit user accounts

    • Configure the actions the SOC team is authorized to perform when required

    • Customize notification settings

You can now oversee and manage your MDR Customers from the MDR portal.
