CLAIRE
Overview
Note
The feature is currently in controlled enrollment. If you are interested in using CLAIRE, fill out and submit the enrollment form.
CLAIRE uses the reasoning abilities of the latest large language model (LLM) technology to help you fully leverage the capabilities of GravityZone. The assistant can process data from multiple sources, such as the Bitdefender Support Center documentation and company-specific data available in GravityZone, to provide quick, actionable answers to your questions and assist you in performing specific actions.
Current capabilities
CLAIRE can currently provide the following types of assistance:
Generic product knowledge
Retrieval of information from the Bitdefender Support Center documentation
Answers to product-related questions based on available documentation and guidance
Company-specific assistance
CLAIRE can provide responses and insights based on the following categories of company-specific data available in GravityZone:
Network inventory and endpoints: Information about managed assets, devices, and network inventory
Policies: Policy-related information, configuration details, and policy status
Incident investigation: investigation support using available incident data and related context. In addition, CLAIRE can assist you in identifying and isolating the endpoints involved in incidents.
Out-of-scope capabilities
The following capabilities are not supported at this time:
Accessing or providing contextualized responses from product areas, pages, or data sources that are not listed above.
Performing actions other than the ones listed above on behalf of users (such as creating, modifying, deleting, approving, or executing operational tasks in GravityZone).
Answering commercial, licensing, pricing, contract, subscription, billing, or sales-related questions, as these areas are outside the data sources and knowledge currently available to CLAIRE.
We are continuously working to add new capabilities to CLAIRE, and your feedback plays an important part in the evolution of the feature. For details on how to provide feedback, refer to Submitting feedback.
Using CLAIRE
You can access the CLAIRE side panel from any page of the GravityZone interface by clicking the dedicated button in the top-right corner of the window.

Working with prompts
On the CLAIRE side panel, you have two options for asking a question:
Select a predefined question from the Prompt suggestions list and click Send (
). On the Incidents, Network, and Policies pages, the prompt suggestions are relevant to the page you are on. This capability will soon be expanded to cover all the areas of the GravityZone interface. After you select a question, you can edit and refine it in the text input field before you send it.Enter a prompt in the text field at the bottom of the panel and click Send. As you start typing your prompt, the character counter in the bottom-right corner of the panel is updated in real time. If your prompt exceeds the character limit, the character counter text turns red, an error message is displayed, and the Send button is disabled.
Once your prompt is sent, it appears as a right-aligned dialog bubble in the chat view. The response is displayed as a left-aligned dialog bubble under your question.
You can request more information or ask additional questions by using the text input field or clicking one of the follow-up prompt suggestions, which are based on the context of the current conversation. If you send a new prompt while another one is being processed, the new prompt is queued until the assistant can respond.
You can cancel a prompt while the response is being generated by clicking Stop (
) in the text input field.
Note
To prevent excessive strain on the CLAIRE infrastructure, we may place certain limits on the number of prompts that you can send during a daily, weekly or monthly interval. For more information, refer to Usage credits below.
To copy a prompt to the clipboard, hover over it and select Copy prompt (
) next to the text bubble.
To copy a response, click Copy response (
) under the response text.
You can also ask CLAIRE to help isolate endpoints involved in incidents. The assistant creates an endpoint list that you can further refine, then you click Isolate to confirm the action. In future releases, CLAIRE will be able to help you perform more actions in the GravityZone interface.
Working with chats
To start a new chat, click New chat (
) in the top-right corner of the CLAIRE panel.
To view a list of your previous chats in reverse chronological order, click Open navigation menu (
) in the top-left corner of the CLAIRE panel. The navigation menu allows you to access your chat history for Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, and Older. If the full chat history does not fit onto the panel, the Load more button at the bottom of the panel allows you to display additional chats.
Note
The retention period for both new and existing chats is currently 30 days.
To resume a previous chat, click its entry in the list.
To rename or delete a chat, click the actions button () next to its title in the chat list and select the appropriate option from the menu.
You can also find chats by using the search field in the upper part of the panel. The search function returns chats whose title contains the text string you entered.
To close the navigation menu and return to the main CLAIRE panel, click Close navigation menu (
) on the upper-left side of the menu.
To open the Bitdefender Control Center documentation, click Support documentation at the bottom of the navigation menu.
The Advisor briefing page
The Advisor briefing page displays proactive recommendations for improving your security posture. To access the page, select CLAIRE > Advisor briefing from the main GravityZone navigation panel.
On the Advisor briefing page, the Top recommended actions section contains a list of clickable recommendation cards. Each card includes a classification of the issue type that the recommendation addresses (for example, Exposure and vulnerabilities), the title of the recommendation, and a summary that specifies the number of affected items and the recommended action. The recommendations currently focus on patchable high-severity vulnerabilities, with more capabilities to follow in future releases.
Clicking a recommendation opens a details page that includes the following sections:
CLAIRE summary - provides an overview of the affected items and the recommended actions.
Why CLAIRE picked this - explains why CLAIRE prioritized the recommendation, taking into account factors like the affected assets being servers, the identified vulnerability being actively exploited in previous real-world attacks, etc.
Why you need to take action - explains the importance of acting on the recommendation and outlines the potential consequences of not addressing the identified issue.
Affected items - provides a list of affected items.
Top remediation actions - lists the main remediation actions that you can take to address the identified issues.
The Why you need to take action, Affected items, and Top remediation actions sections include prompt suggestion buttons (for example, Explain this risk, Which item should I prioritize?, etc.) that you can click to open a CLAIRE chat window and request more details about the information or suggestions provided in that section.
Usage credits
CLAIRE currently has a monthly usage limit of 200 prompts per company. The counter is reset at the beginning of each month.
When you reach the usage limit for the current month, a message is displayed in the CLAIRE chat window and the text input field is disabled.
To view your total and remaining usage credits for the current month, click CLAIRE in the GravityZone interface, then select Open navigation menu and click Usage credits at the bottom of the menu.
Submitting feedback
Let us know your thoughts on any answer that CLAIRE provides by clicking either the Good response (
) or the Bad response (
) buttons below the answer. Clicking Bad response displays a list of questions that allow you to provide additional information. You can select the reason for your feedback from a predefined list or click Other and type your feedback in the text input field. You can also specify whether or not you would be open to a short follow-up call. When you are done entering your feedback, click Submit.
We eagerly await and value your input on this feature.
