Licensing and Provisioning
This page explains how to activate the Extended Email Security add-on for an existing GravityZone license.
This applies to customers that are:
Yearly licensed
Monthly licensed
Yearly licensed model
Overview
In a direct yearly licensing scenario, the organization owns and manages its GravityZone account. The Extended Email Security (EES) add-on is activated directly from that company’s GravityZone Control Center.
Prerequisites
An active GravityZone license.
A valid EES add-on license.
The Manage Company role. For more information, see User roles.
For self-managed customers with a yearly license:
Log in to GravityZone by using the GravityZone identity provider.
In the upper-right corner of the console, go to User menu > My company > Licensing.
In the License usage details section, select Add product. The Add new product window appears.
Enter the GravityZone Extended Email Security license key and select Check validity. Information about the key validity and included services is displayed.
Select Add product.
Log out of GravityZone Control Center, and then log back in. The Email Security page is now available in the navigation menu on the left side of the console.
For partners that manage a yearly licensed company:
Log in to GravityZone by using the GravityZone identity provider.
Go to the Companies section.
Select the company name from the list. The Edit company window opens.
Select the Licensing tab.
Select Add product. The Add new product window opens.
Enter the license key and select Check validity. After the key is validated, the product details are displayed and the Add product button becomes available.
Select Add product. The product is added to the selected company.
Monthly license model
Overview
In the monthly licensed model, the service provider activates and manages EES on behalf of multiple downstream companies from a multi-tenant GravityZone environment.
Prerequisites
A monthly licensed GravityZone Control Center account.
A EES add-on license allocated at the partner level.
The Manage Company right. For more information, see User roles.
For partners that manage a monthly licensed company:
Log in to GravityZone by using the GravityZone identity provider.
Go to the Companies section.
Select the company name from the list. The Edit company window opens.
Select the Licensing tab.
Select Edit licensing options. The Licensing window opens.
Scroll to Extended Email Security, and then enable the toggle.
Select Save. EES is activated for the selected company.
Provisioning
After license activation, a new Email Security section appears in GravityZone. This section lets you:
View all accounts associated with your tenant.
Create EES accounts.
Open the EES console.
