Uninstalling BEST when the uninstall password is lost
To uninstall the Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools agent from one or more endpoints when the uninstall password is lost or forgotten, follow these steps:
In Control Center, go to the Policies page in the main menu.
Select and open the policy that is applied to your target endpoints.
In the policy, go to the General > Agent > Settings section, click Set uninstall password and enter a new password that meets the requirements.
Alternatively, you can disable the password if the policy is applied only to the endpoints from which you want to remove the security agent.
If the policy is applied to other endpoints as well, disabling the uninstall password might expose the security agent on those endpoints to unnecessary risk.
Click Save to apply the changes.
