Troubleshooting activation issues for the GravityZone MTD for iOS

On an iOS mobile device, a successful login is indicated by the GravityZone MTD dashboard that shows whether any risks or critical events have been detected. The figure below displays a dashboard with no threats.

If your organization deploys iOS GravityZone MTD via a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, along with a Managed App Configuration (PLIST), and an end-user does not see the dashboard after granting permissions, the following steps can be taken to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Click on Company Domain link.

  2. On the next screen, long-press the Bitdefender icon for about 2-3 seconds. This should bring up the Advanced Details screen.

  3. On the Advanced Details screen, scroll down to display the Server and MDM Application Configuration sections.

  4. Verify that the MDM Application configuration matches with what was pushed from the MDM, and that the values for defaultchannel and tenantid match with those provided by Bitdefender for your specific environment.

    Keep in mind that the Server URL and the defaultchannel should display the same URL.

  5. Scroll all the way down on the Advanced Details screen and click Reset GravityZone MTD.

  6. Force close GravityZone MTD by swiping it away from the recently used apps list, and launch GravityZone MTD again.

  7. If you are still facing activation issues, please open a support ticket with Bitdefender, and attach the following information to your ticket:
