Communication Server configuration
To configure the Security Server to communicate with GravityZone for manual installs, follow these steps:
From the main menu, select option 3 Communication server configuration.
Select Configure Communication Server.
Select On-Premises.
Enter the address of the Communication Server, including the port number
8443, using the following format:https://Communication-Server-IP:8443Alternatively, you can use the Communication Server hostname instead of the IP address.
(Optional) If you are using a relay, go to Configure Relay Server.
Enter the relay address and the Relay ID, which can be found in the GravityZone Control Center > Network > Computers and Groups > select your relay > General.
Afterwards, go to Change Priorities and select Relay first, ECS second.
Important
This address must be the same as the one that appears in Control Center policy settings. To check the link, go to the Policies page from the left side menu, add or open a custom policy, navigate to the General > Communication > Endpoint Communication Assignment section and enter the Communication Server name in the column header field. The correct server is going to be displayed in the search results.
Select Configure Communication Mode.
To enforce a secure communication, select Strict. Otherwise, select Permissive.
Select Save & Apply to save changes.
