Bitdefender Central: Your Easy How-To Guide

The Dashboard provides an overview of your account’s security status. At a glance, you can see the number of protected devices, recent security events, and detected threats.

From the Dashboard, you can:

• Protect a new device
• Join the Bitdefender Expert Community
• Read the latest cybersecurity news and tips

The My Devices section lets you view and manage all devices protected by your Bitdefender subscription. If your Bitdefender account includes a Family plan, this section is labeled Family Devices instead.

Here you can:

• View all protected devices and identify those that require attention.
• Open a device card to access available remote actions, depending on the installed Bitdefender product. These actions are available only when the device is powered on and connected to the internet.
• Use the icons at the top of the device page to rename the device, update Bitdefender, remove the device from your account, and perform other management tasks.

Use the dedicated sections in the left-hand navigation menu to access and manage Bitdefender’s standalone or online services, including:

• SecurePass
• VPN
• Parental Control
• Digital Identity Protection
• Identity Theft Protection

The My Subscriptions area displays information about your Bitdefender subscriptions, including the subscription name, number of protected devices, and expiration date.

• To activate a new subscription, click Activate with code.
• To add a payment method or manage automatic renewal, open the My Payments / Billing tab.

If your Bitdefender Central account includes both individual and family-oriented plans – including expired ones – 2 tabs are displayed to help you distinguish between them:

• Personal: Displays your individual subscriptions.
• Family group: Displays subscriptions shared with members of your family group.

If your account contains only individual subscriptions or only family subscriptions, these tabs are not displayed.

• Click the Manage devices button under a subscription to change device allocation or remove devices from that subscription.

The Support section provides quick access to Bitdefender help resources, including:

• Knowledge base articles
• Video tutorials
• Bitdefender Support

Click the Notifications icon (bell) in the upper-right corner to view alerts from Bitdefender products installed on your devices. Notifications keep you informed about security events and actions that may require your attention.

To manage your account settings, click your username in the upper-right corner and select Bitdefender Account.

From the Bitdefender Account page, you can:

• Change your email address
• Update your personal information and profile picture
• Change your account password
• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) and manage trusted devices
• Update your communication preferences, including Bitdefender newsletters
• Delete your Bitdefender account
