How to reset the password for your Bitdefender Central account

To set a new password for your Bitdefender Central account, follow these steps:

If you can log in to your account

1. Go to the Bitdefender Central page.

2. Click on the my account central icon and select My Account.

3. Click the Change password button to change the account linked to the computer.

4. Type the e-mail address used to create your Bitdefender Central account, then type your new password.

5. Click on the CHANGE PASSWORD button.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to set up a strong password (it can include capital letters, small letters, numbers and special characters)

If you can’t log in to your account

1. Go to the Bitdefender Central page.

2. Click on Forgot my password.

3. In the new window, type the e-mail associated with your Central account.

5. Check your e-mail and click on the Change Password link.

NOTE: The link in the e-mail sent to you will expire after three hours.

6. Type your Email address, your old password and your new password in their corresponding fields.

7. Click on RESET PASSWORD. Now you can login using your new password.
