End-of-Life Announcement for Bitdefender Password Manager

Bitdefender Password Manager, a multi-platform service designed to store and organize online passwords, reached End-of-Life (EOL) on June 15, 2026, and is no longer available.

The service has been replaced by Bitdefender SecurePass, a multi-platform password manager designed for the most cautious users to securely store, manage, and organize passwords across devices.

Impact on Existing Users

As of June 15, 2026, Bitdefender Password Manager is no longer accessible. The following changes apply:

• The service can no longer be used to access or manage stored passwords.
• Support and maintenance for the product end.
• Product updates and security fixes are no longer provided.

Migration Path

Bitdefender SecurePass is the successor to Bitdefender Password Manager. SecurePass is Bitdefender’s next-generation password management solution built on an open-source solution. In line with our commitment to delivering cutting-edge security solutions, Bitdefender SecurePass offers the latest in password protection, streamlined functionality, and a suite of new tools designed to enhance digital security.

Customers with active, paid subscriptions to Bitdefender Password Manager were eligible to upgrade to Bitdefender SecurePass at no additional cost. The free upgrade was available directly through their Bitdefender account until June 15, 2026. Following the upgrade, SecurePass retains the same expiration date as Bitdefender Password Manager, and future subscription renewals automatically apply to Bitdefender SecurePass.
