This announcement outlines the product lifecycle milestones and provides guidance for customers currently using the service.

Impact for Existing Users
Customers with active subscriptions to Bitdefender Password Manager may continue using the service until June 15, 2026. After June 15, 2026:
- Support and maintenance will no longer be available.
- Product updates and security fixes will cease.
Migration Path
Bitdefender Password Manager has been replaced by SecurePass, Bitdefender’s next-generation password management solution built on an open-source solution. Free Upgrade from Bitdefender Password Manager to SecurePass
Customers with active, paid subscriptions to Bitdefender Password Manager are eligible to upgrade to Bitdefender SecurePass at no additional cost. They can claim the free upgrade directly through their Bitdefender account.

After the upgrade, SecurePass will keep the same expiration date as the current Bitdefender Password Manager plan and future renewals will automatically apply to Bitdefender SecurePass. Stored credentials will be imported into SecurePass.
