Bitdefender VPN to End Support for iOS 13 and iOS 14 on November 15, 2026

Bitdefender VPN will end support for iOS 13 and iOS 14 on November 15, 2026. This change means future app updates will require iOS 15 or later. This guide explains what this change means for your Bitdefender VPN app and subscription, how to update your iPhone or iPad, and what options are available if your device cannot run iOS 15 or later.

What happens when support for iOS 13 and iOS 14 ends?

If your iPhone or iPad runs iOS 13 or iOS 14, the following changes will take effect on November 15, 2026:

  • Your existing app will remain installed. Bitdefender VPN will not be automatically removed from your device.
  • Your app will no longer receive updates. You won’t receive new features, bug fixes, or security patches for Bitdefender VPN on iOS 13 and iOS 14.
  • Future app updates will require iOS 15 or later. You’ll need to update your device to a supported iOS version to receive future Bitdefender VPN updates.
  • Bitdefender VPN will be unavailable in the App Store. New downloads will no longer be available from the App Store for devices running iOS 13 or iOS 14.

Your Bitdefender VPN subscription will remain active. You can continue using your subscription on your current iOS version, or use it on a supported Android, Mac, or Windows device with the same Bitdefender account.

Important! Although your existing app may continue to work, using an unsupported app version means you won’t receive future security patches or bug fixes.
