How to install Bitdefender Mobile Security for iOS

1. Open the App Store app on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Search for ‘Bitdefender Mobile Security’ on the App Store. After locating the app tap the cloud icon with an arrow pointing down to download Bitdefender Mobile Security for iOS.

3. Once the download completes, open the Bitdefender Mobile Security app and tap ‘Get started’ on the welcome screen.

4. Check the small box and select ‘Continue’ after you read and agree with the Subscription Agreement.

5. Now, sign in to your Bitdefender Central account using your username and password.

• If you don’t have an account already, please create one.

6. To finish the installation and secure your browsers, you will need to turn on the Web Protection feature in Bitdefender Mobile Security. Access the ‘Web Protection’ icon at the bottom of the screen.

7. Tap ‘I Agree’ after you read and agree to the Web Protection privacy policy.

8. Next, tap ‘Allow’ when prompted to continue installing the web scan filter.

9. If an authentication method (fingerprint or PIN code) has been set to protect your device, you are required to use it. After a short wait, Web Protection will be enabled. In the picture below, we enter the iPhone passcode.

The easiest way to install Bitdefender Mobile Security on iOS is to get it on the Apple App Store. You can also install the Bitdefender Mobile Security app through Bitdefender Central, your user account – What is Bitdefender Central? Here’s how:

1. On the iPhone or iPad you want to protect, visit https://central.bitdefender.com and sign in to your Bitdefender Central account.

2. On the Bitdefender Central homepage, press the Install Bitdefender Products button.

3. A new window will appear, showing your Bitdefender subscription products. Within this window, press the Install button located in the Security panel.

4. Then choose Download to install Bitdefender Mobile Security on your device.

5. You will be redirected to the App Store. Tap the cloud icon with an arrow pointing down. The app will start downloading and installing.

6. Once the installation is complete, you’ll see an Open button. Tap on it to launch the Bitdefender Mobile Security app.

7. Tap Get started on the welcome screen.

8. Check the small box and tap Continue after you read and agree with the subscription terms.

9. Next, if you’re not automatically logged in to Bitdefender Central account, sign in using your username and password.

10. To finish the installation and secure your browsers, you will need to turn on the Web Protection feature in Bitdefender Mobile Security. Access the ‘Web Protection’ icon at the bottom of the screen.

11. Tap ‘I Agree’ after you read and agree to the Web Protection privacy policy.

12. Next, tap ‘Allow’ when prompted to continue installing the web scan filter.
