How to uninstall Bitdefender 2015

If you need to remove your Bitdefender 2015, follow these steps:

 

In Windows XP:

1. Click Start, go to Control Panel and double-click Add / Remove programs.

2. Find Bitdefender 2015 and select Remove.

3. Click Remove to continue.

4. At this step, you have to choose one of the two available options (I want to reinstall it or I want to permanently remove it), in order to completely remove Bitdefender. After that, click on Next.

5. Wait for the uninstall process to complete and then reboot your system.

 

In Windows Vista and Windows 7:

1. Click Start, go to Control Panel and double-click Programs and Features.

2. Find Bitdefender 2015 and select Uninstall.

3. Click Remove to continue.

4. At this step, you have to choose one of the two available options (I want to reinstall it or I want to permanently remove it), in order to completely remove Bitdefender. After that, click on Next.

5. Wait for the uninstall process to complete and then reboot your system.

 

In Windows 8 & Windows 8.1:

1. From the Windows Start screen, locate Control Panel (for example, you can start typing “Control Panel” directly in the Start screen) and then click its icon.

2. Click Uninstall a program or Programs and Features.

3. Find Bitdefender 2015 and select Uninstall.

4. Click Remove to continue.

5. At this step, you have to choose one of the two available options (I want to reinstall it or I want to permanently remove it), in order to completely remove Bitdefender. After that, click on Next.

6. Wait for the uninstall process to complete and then reboot your system.

7. To be sure everything is removed properly, we also recommend using our dedicated uninstall tool. Download it from this location and then run it on your system:

NOTE: During the uninstall process, the uninstall tool searches the computer for all the Bitdefender previous versions that might have been installed on the computer. If it doesn’t find a certain version (ex. Bitdefender 2008), it will display a red X in the window; this is a perfectly normal behavior.
