Bitdefender announces that Bitdefender USSD Wipe Stopper and Bitdefender Carrier IQ Finder will reach their End of Life on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018. These two free Android apps will no longer be available on Google Play after this date. They will remain installed on devices but will stop receiving updates after the official End of Life date.

“The Bitdefender USSD Wipe Stopper and Bitdefender Carrier IQ Finder apps have helped users stay safe from threats aimed at compromising their devices,” said Ana Sandu, Bitdefender Product Manager. “While these applications have become redundant in light of new updates to the Android operating system, our goal is to focus our effort on improving the current application portfolio.”
Bitdefender will continue to offer Partial Support for the product for 30 days after the official End of Life announcement. After the official End of Life date, the product will reach its End of Support Life.
