On May 9, 2024 we will begin the End of Life (EOL) process for our legacy Parental Control technical solution which will be replaced by a more advanced technology.
Starting with this date, devices using iOS 14 or earlier, along with Mac computers running macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or earlier are no longer supported. Bitdefender Parental Control will continue to function with previous settings but will not be manageable on these devices.
At the same time, Parental Control management will no longer be directly available in the Bitdefender Central app, but access to the corresponding web version will be facilitated within the app.
If you become a Bitdefender customer after this date, you will benefit from the new Parental Control solution included in Bitdefender plans.
If you are an existing Bitdefender customer with a plan including Parental Control, the new solution becomes available for you after this date.
Moreover, if you are an active user of the legacy Parental Control technical solution, your settings and configurations will be transferred to the new, more advanced solution. You will need to ensure the solution is updated and enabled on all your devices after this date.
