I reinstalled BD after upgrading to Ventura, but used App Cleaner & Uninstaller instead of the BD-uninstaller and that was the problem....

@Scoop_112 , So is there a way to get Windows Defender back as the main AV without uninstalling Bitdefender? I don't think there is a way, but I most definitely could be mistaken . . ....

The best option will be to uninstall the bitdefender product, upgrade your windows to 11 & then reinstall bitdefender....
