It should have been set to “disabled” when you installed Bitdefender....

While uninstalling & reinstalling the product can resolve this issue, but if it doesn't, kindly generate below logs and send to bitdefender support....

Hi @WalterHuyck When you have bitdefender installed it will turn the windows defender off as you're using bitdefender's antivirus and firewall so you don't have to turn anything off or on in windows defender...
