I uninstalled it and reinstalled the new version from the Bitdefender website. I was dropping from around 900 down to 300 for download speed using BDVPN....

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the product....

Hello :) Bitdefender only makes the one uninstall tool, this being it, besides going through the steps Flexx posted above, Feb 20, for a totally clean uninstall....

If this doesn't help, check for other security solutions and uninstall them. Try connecting to a different network (another LAN, mobile data, etc.)....

Uninstalling BIS eliminates those messages. MR just makes image files as a backup. Hope that helps. Best, Dave...
