I checked to see if it was uninstalled and the sub directory is in fact gone. Yea, I backed up my Registry and then chickened out removing all 16+ references....

...If anything fails, perhaps you could try to remove the installation in safe mode, since you mentioned that the uninstalled isn't showing as well.....

Hello @Stav-uk, I also think that the simple workaround in the scenario you have described would be to uninstall the firewall, install the antivirus and then reinstall the firewall....

...This doesn't sound like any of the installer fails described under support and there is no error code. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling three times and always get the same error....

...The antivirus solution must've changed smth in the phone/pc settings, as even with the software uninstalled, these things are not working anymore. What to do ?

BSOTD and i also tried reinstall / repaire etc.. I had to uninstall bitdefender using windows safeboot (shift + F8) because it was chain booting to a BSOTD screen....
