How does the usage-based monthly licensing work and how do you activate add-on products?

A distribution or RMM partner typically creates partner accounts in the GravityZone console for Service Providers and sets licensing to “Monthly License”.

MSPs can then simply log in and start deploying protection and without a traditional license key. The number of systems protected each month is with core and add-on features is visible in the security console and the Bitdefender Partner Advantage Network Portal.

What are the steps and conditions required to become a Bitdefender MSP partner?

Join the Partner Advantage Network and identify a Bitdefender MSP distributor in your area. There is no minimum required number of endpoints, the distributor or RMM partner will provide pricing and billing and the MSP must provide level 1 support to customers. MSP partners also benefit from aggregated price bands across all customers as well as enablement and marketing support.

What level of security or add-on products do you recommend I should choose for my customers?

It usually depends on each customer’s risk profile and tolerance as well as regulatory environments and budgets. As attacks have evolved significantly in the last years, we recommend Advanced Threat Security and Endpoint Detection and Response become the standard or default offering.

Also, adding Extended Detection and Response on top of ATS and EDR can improve cyber-security for your customers and allows them to couple expertise with reduced alert overload and analyst fatigue by automatically analyzing and correlating activities across different telemetry sources. Alerts can be resolved more effectively with integrated views of evidence for the investigation, while automation can increase operational efficiency by reducing repetitive tasks.
