End of life for the ConnectWise PSA legacy integration
Date: 2025.06.12
Bitdefender announces that the ConnectWise PSAConnectWise PSA legacy integration with GravityZone officially reaches the end of life (EOL) by September 15, 2025. This decision follows the major update released in Q4 2024, which introduced a more powerful and flexible ConnectWise PSA standalone integration.
What is changing?
Essentially nothing, if you migrate to the new ConnectWise PSA standalone integration before September 15, 2025. Your data will be transferred to the new integration, and you will continue to use its services as usual and benefit from the new ConnectWise PSA standalone integration features.
However, if you do not complete migration by September 15, 2025, you will be required to re-create your ConnectWise PSA integration from scratch. That will happen because the legacy integration will be retired by September 15, 2025, and its settings will be permanently removed (the Billing and Ticketing services will be stopped). The integration will no longer function, and access to previous mappings or configurations will no longer be possible.
Migration steps to the new ConnectWise PSA integration
To ensure continuity, you must migrate to the new ConnectWise PSA integration as soon as possible. You need GravityZone administrator rights to perform this process.
To migrate, follow these steps:
Log in to GravityZone using your partner credentials.
Go to user menu > Integrations, and click the SETUP button under ConnectWise PSA.
You will be redirected to the new ConnectWise PSA configuration wizard. The required fields will auto-fill with the following details:
ConnectWise PSA credentials
Agreement type
Products
Existing company mappings
Manually configure the Ticketing service:
Select Bitdefender alert types.
Define ticket priorities.
Optionally, assign service boards.
Save the configuration.
Finalizing the process will change your GravityZone user menu > Integrations > ConnectWise PSA button from SETUP to LAUNCH.
GravityZone partners with a configured SSO 3rd party identify provider will not be able to use GravityZone IdP, an API key must be generated and added to the integration.
To generate the API key, follow these steps:
Log in to GravityZone console using your partner credentials.
Click the user menu at the upper-right corner and select My account.
Go to the API keys section and click Add.
Enable the following APIs:
Companies API
Licensing API
Network API
Event Push Service API
Click Save.
The API key is generated. To prevent the leaking of sensitive information, do not share or distribute your own generated API keys.
Copy the access URL from the Control Center API section.
Add the access URL to the ConnectWise PSA integration settings.
We strongly recommend that you complete the migration before September 15, 2025, to avoid service disruption and preserve all current mappings and settings.
After September 15, 2025, the ConnectWise PSA legacy integration will be permanently shut down, migration will no longer be possible, and you will have to configure the new ConnectWise PSA integration without relying on previously available information.
