How to fix the restart pop-up error in Bitdefender 2016
After Bitdefender performs an update, it may be necessary to restart the computer in order to complete the process. We recommend doing it as soon as possible.
However, in some older versions of Bitdefender, the pop-up which asks you if you want to restart your device appears constantly, even after you reboot your computer. Moreover, the Yes option in the popup is automatically selected, so if you accidentally press Enter at that moment, you will reboot your device.
To get rid of this error, we recommend upgrading to Bitdefender 2017.
NOTE: Your subscription will have the same validity, even after the upgrade.
You can upgrade from Bitdefender 2016 to Bitdefender 2017 by following the instructions presented in this article.
