Top certification from AV-Comparatives awarded for excellent scores in cleaning malware and removing leftovers
BitDefender�, an award-winning provider of innovative anti-malware security solutions, announced today that BitDefender Antivirus 2010 received the top certification level from AV-Comparatives for its excellent ability to remove malware from infected PCs.
AV-Comparatives test was performed from September 1st through the 15th on 16 antivirus products to determine which software had the best ability to detect and remove malware and any leftovers. AV-Comparatives used a 4-level ranking system: Tested, Standard, Advanced, and Advanced+. The test for the October 2009 report was conducted from a set of 10 different malware samples.
