Bug fixes:
Only on Windows 98 or Windows ME:
- System freezes after 2-3 hours from Windows startup
- Vsserv.exe not responding at system shutdown
- System crashes when Bitdefender is updating
- Windows ME freeze when internet (network) connection is disconnected.

Bug fixes in Patch 1.6.2:
1. Bug description: During the update process, while the signature files are replaced the scan requests are dropped and infected files are not detected. Level of severity: High
2. Bug description: Bitdefender processes do not start when the update module fails to replace the avxpnd files. Level of severity: High
3. Bug description: The avxpnd files that failed to be replaced are not updated the next time the update process is performed. Level of severity: High
4. Bug description: The clean objects in .html format are corrupted due to Lotus integration. Level of severity: Medium
5. Bug description: The Bitdefender alerts for specific viruses are empty or corrupted. Level of severity: Low

1. The log file includes detailed information regarding the update process.
2. The default automatic update interval is set to 3 hours.
