The latest GFK figures for the 1st quarter of 2005 regarding the sales of boxed antivirus software in the retail segment confirm the position occupied by BitDefender:
- A market share volume of over 28%, 2.2 times more than in the 1st quarter of 2004.
- A market share value worth 2.6 times more than the same period of last year.
- A 12-point market share volume difference between BitDefender and the 3rd actor in the market, during the 1st quarter of 2005.
"Editions Profil has done a tremendous job. This company knew not only how to show the quality of our products, but it also succeeded in making them known, in order to push BitDefender on the 2nd sales position in France," declared BitDefender Commercial Director Bogdan Irina.
