We did work together with the reporter to find out the problem and Bitdefender AV Lab succeeded to issue a fix to this problem in a very short time.

The fix has been issued to all update servers and to all Bitdefender products on July 13.
Starting with July 13, all Bitdefender users are protected against possible exploitations of this vulnerability.
