As of January 2004, BitDefender Free Edition is included in the software bundle offered along with l computers products . Part of the same agreement, l-computers customers are also provided with a full upgrade path to the Professional Edition of BitDefender. The choice was based on the unmatched virus detection and protection capabilities of BitDefender products. L computers is a California based high-end computer and technology manufacturer.
