Bitdefender announced it won the top spot in two major categories of comprehensive testing by independent analysis firm AV-Comparatives

Bitdefender, a global cybersecurity leader protecting over 500 million systems across 150 countries, announced it won the top spot in two major categories of comprehensive testing by independent analysis firm AV-Comparatives, earning perfect scores in both.

Bitdefender aced AV-Comparatives’ Attack Test, built to leverage MITRE matrix detection capabilities and TTP identification.

In the new Attack Test, the first ever undertaken by AV-Comparatives, Bitdefender scored 100%.

AV Comparative added an Enhanced Real-World Test in its report for the second half of 2019 to gauge protection against advanced persistent threats. The new test was requested by CISOs, who consider it an essential tool when determining how best to protect a company’s assets.

Bitdefender and its business solutions have a long tradition of ranking in the top, and the latest results from Real-World Protection and Enhanced Real-World Protection tests, which scored 100% in detections, only strengthens the company's position in the cybersecurity market.

The results highlights the GravityZone business solution’s ability to protect systems in any scenario, but more importantly, in everyday use. The product can block the sophisticated attacks that companies suffer daily, including file-less threats and exploits.

Bitdefender also received "Advanced Threat Protection" certification for enterprise products from AV-Comparatives. The test, covering Bitdefender Endpoint Security Elite, was run on Windows 10.

To win certification in December 2019 as an AV-Comparatives “Approved Business Product,” products need to score at least 90% in the overall Real-World Protection Test (i.e. over the course of four months), with less than 100 false alarms on any clean software/websites (and with zero false alarms on common business software).
