End of Access (EOA)

Starting January 1st 2020 the install packages will not be available for download from GravityZone Control Center. Customers looking to perform new installations on these legacy OS versions can either save an older version of the legacy installation kit or contact Bitdefender Enterprise Support to receive a compatible version and installation procedure.

End of Standard Support (EOSU)

After April 30 2020, Bitdefender will discontinue support for all type of issues related to these legacy operating systems. A separate custom package for Extended Support can be purchased.

End of Extended Support (EES)

After June 30th 2021, Bitdefender will continue to deliver limited antimalware signature updates for customers with legacy OSes to provide a security solution during their transition to new OS versions. This type of support will be available only to existing customers depending on their agreement with Bitdefender. Bitdefender will deliver this limited support as long as there are no external constraints or dependencies on operating system updates and the technical effort can be covered in a timely manner.

Bitdefender reserves the right to change the terms of this support policy at any time; all changes will be communicated within a reasonable timeframe.

To fully benefit from the latest security technologies, Bitdefender recommends existing Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 customers migrate to the latest supported version of Windows as soon as possible.
