How to Install and Set Up Bitdefender Hub on iOS - Bitdefender Consumer Support Center

This article explains how to download, install, and configure Bitdefender Hub on iOS devices – iPhone, iPad. Once installed, the Bitdefender Hub app will include all subscriptions active in your Bitdefender account. For details, see How do I activate my Bitdefender subscription?

System Requirements: iOS 14 or later

1. On the iPhone or iPad you want to protect, go to https://central.bitdefender.com and sign in to your Bitdefender Central account.

If you don’t have an account, create one. See How to create a Bitdefender Central account.

2. On the Bitdefender Central homepage, click Install Bitdefender Products.

3. In the window that appears, click Download.

4. You will be redirected to the App Store. Tap the cloud icon with an arrow pointing down to download and install Bitdefender.

5. Once the installation is complete, open the Bitdefender Hub app and follow the on-screen steps to set it up.

6. Accept the subscription agreement, then tap Continue.

7. Allow notifications to get instant security alerts and important updates on your protection status.

8. Sign in with your Bitdefender account if prompted.

9. When the installation is complete, you’ll see a list of all services available on your account. If you have more than one subscription, Bitdefender will display the best one along with the expiration date.

Tap Set up services.

10. Follow the steps below to set up unconfigured services:

Security

To enable the security service, Bitdefender needs your permission to add a new VPN configuration for the Web Protection component. Web Protection blocks dangerous websites while you browse and prevents iOS apps from accessing unsafe links in the background.

Tap ‘Continue’.
Tap ‘I Agree’ after you read through and agree with privacy policy.
Next, tap ‘Allow’ when prompted to add VPN configurations in order to filter network activity.
Enter the iPhone/iPad passcode to add VPN configurations.

Web Protection is now enabled.

Digital Identity Protection

Enter the primary email address you use for online accounts, then tap Validate email (or Confirm email if the address was already verified).
Enter the security code sent to your email, then tap Confirm email.
- If you don’t receive the code within 15 minutes, please check your spam folder as well.
- The Resend code option becomes available after 15 minutes.
After the code is successfully validated, tap Continue.
Bitdefender Digital Identity Protection will scan for possible data exposures. Once the scan is complete, the service is ready to use. For more information, see How to Use Bitdefender Digital Identity Protection.

After completing all configuration steps, click Start using the app to open the Bitdefender Hub app.

All done! You’ve successfully installed and configured Bitdefender Hub on your iOS device. To protect another device, perform the same installation steps on that device.
