Deploying Bitdefender agent through GravityZone
GravityZone operates with Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools (BEST), a security agents installed on Windows, Linux and macOS endpoints.
When you choose to deploy the security agent through Kaseya VSA, the Bitdefender plugin creates a default security agent installation package in GravityZone Control Center with the following name KASEYA_Connector_Default
. Each managed company and its child company has its individual installation package listed on the page.
Installation packages are visible in Control Center only for the user that created them. If you delete a default package for a company, the plugin creates a new one during the next deployment task. For more information, refer to Synchronizing the Kaseya inventory.
Synchronization tasks do not work on agents running legacy operating systems, showing OS version not supported
as status, in the agents table from the Inventory page in the Kaseya VSA console. The following legacy operating systems are no longer supported:
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2008
