If Anti-Theft has been configured, Bitdefender Hub cannot be uninstalled using the standard Android method. This is expected behavior and helps prevent unauthorized removal.

You can uninstall the app using one of the following methods.

Option 1: Uninstall from Within the App (recommended)

This method automatically handles the required permissions.

1. Open the Bitdefender Hub app on your Android smartphone or tablet.

2. Tap the profile icon at the top right, then tap on “My account”.

3. Tap “Uninstall Bitdefender Hub” at the bottom.

4. Enter the application PIN you chose when you set up the Anti-Theft feature.

If you don’t remember the PIN, tap “I forgot my PIN.” You can retrieve it from your Bitdefender account by going to My Devices (or Family Devices) → tap “View details” on your Android device → Rename → Application PIN.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Option 2: Disable Device Admin Permission First

If you are unable to access the in-app uninstall option:

Open Settings on your Android device.
Go to Security or Privacy & security.
Tap Device admin apps (or Device admin).
Disable Bitdefender Hub.
Return to Settings > Apps.
Select Bitdefender Hub and tap Uninstall.

After completing these steps, the Bitdefender Hub app will be fully uninstalled from your Android device.
