Better safe than sorry
I'm not sure if it much matters which virus security app you go with on android. If you aren't being reckless with shady stuff and what not. I've tried many security suites on my PC and arrived at choosing bitdefender over the rest. So I figure if I can trust them with my PC security I can trust them to do that for my smartphone.

Does not have false positives. It does not detect clean apps as malware. Also has very good detection rate. The interface is very non-intrusive unlike other mobile security apps which mostly try to scare the user.
