How to Manually Add Passwords to SecurePass [Bitdefender App]

1. Add a New Item

1. Go to https://securepass.bitdefender.com/ or open the Bitdefender SecurePass browser extension.
2. Press the + Add item button.
3. Select the type of item you want to add from the following options:
   • Account
   • Credit Card
   • Identity
   • Note

2. Fill in the fields

Now fill in the required fields depending on the selected item. For example, to add login information for a website:

1. Select Account from the list.
2. In the Name field, enter the name of the website, e.g. Netflix.
3. In the Website address field, type the website URL, such as www.netflix.com.
4. Enter your Username for the website.
5. Enter your Password for the website or use SecurePass to generate a strong one (see step 3 below).

3. Generate a Strong Password (optional)

If you want to generate a new secure password instead of using your own:

1. Click the Generate option next to the Password field to open the password generator.
2. Press the cogwheel icon to configure the generated password. You can adjust:
   • Password length
   • Use of Uppercase and Lowercase letters
   • Inclusion of Numbers
   • Inclusion of Special characters
3. To generate a new password, press the circular arrow icon beneath the current password.
4. Once satisfied with the generated password, press Use this password.

4. Save Changes

• To save changes and add the account to your SecurePass vault, click the Save Account button at the bottom.

If you do not want to save your changes, press Discard changes.

1. Open SecurePass Vault

1. Open the Bitdefender Hub app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Tap the Services icon in the bottom menu.
3. Scroll down to SecurePass, then tap on Vault.

2. Unlock Vault

• Unlock your vault using the master password or biometric authentication.

3. Add a New Item

1. Press the + Add button.
2. Select the type of item you want to add from the available options:
   • Account
   • Card
   • Identity
   • Note

4. Fill in the fields

Now fill in the required fields depending on the selected item. For example, to add login information for a website:

1. Select Account from the list.
2. In the Account title field, enter the name of the website, e.g. Netflix.
3. Enter your Username for the website.
4. Enter your Password for the website or use SecurePass to generate a strong one (see step 3 below).
5. In the Website field, type the website URL, such as www.netflix.com.
