How to Import Passwords into Bitdefender App (SecurePass)

1. Open SecurePass Settings

• Go to https://securepass.bitdefender.com/ or open the Bitdefender SecurePass browser extension.
• Click on Settings in the top right corner of the page.

2. Select the Import Option

• Click on Import passwords.
• This will open the import window.

3. Choose the File Type

• Click on the Select file type field.
• From the drop-down menu, select the name of the password manager or web browser you’ve used before (e.g. 1Password, Firefox etc.).
• If a password was used to encrypt the file, enter it in the Password field; otherwise, leave it blank.

4. Select the Exported File

• Click on the Select file to import field.
• Navigate to the location where you saved the exported data from your old password manager.
• Choose the file and click Open.

5. Start the Import Process

• After selecting the file, click Import.
• The import process will begin, and you’ll see a progress indicator.

6. Access the Imported Data

• Once the import is complete, a folder named Import will appear in your SecurePass vault containing your data from the previous password manager.
  • You can organize imported items later by adding new folders or rename existing ones.

1. Open SecurePass Settings

• Open the Bitdefender Hub app on your iOS or Android device.
• Tap the profile icon at the top right, then tap on SecurePass.

2. Unlock Vault

• Unlock your vault using the master password or biometric authentication.

3. Select the Import Option

• Tap Import passwords to open the import window.

4. Choose Provider or File Type

• Tap the Select file type field.
• Choose the name of the web browser or password manager (such as Chrome, Lastpass, etc.) from the drop-down menu.

• Note: If you are importing a password-protected file from a Bitdefender SecurePass or Bitdefender Password Manager, turn on the Password protection switch, then enter the password.

5. Choose File to Import

• Tap the Choose file button.
• Navigate to the location where you saved the exported data from your other password manager and tap the file you want to import

6. Start the Import Process

• After selecting the file, tap Import.
  • To import a different file, tap Change then choose the file you want to import into SecurePass.
• Await the import of the selected file’s contents into Bitdefender Hub,

7. Access the Imported Data

• Once the import is complete, tap Go to my Vault.
• A folder named Import will appear in your SecurePass vault containing your data from the other password manager. You can organize imported items later by adding folders or rename existing ones.
