NETGEAR Armor displays two identical devices

Due to certain limitations of Apple's iOS mobile operating system, NETGEAR Armor users might encounter situations where two identical devices are displayed in the online platform.

The first device appears in the My Devices window when you connect it to the wireless network, while the second one appears after installing local protection (Bitdefender Mobile Secunrity for iOS) on it.

As we mentioned earlier, this is a corner case and it’s generated by a technical limitation of the Apple's iOS. It’s caused by the fact that, when you install BMS for iOS on your iPhone, the app does not have any access to the MAC address of the device (this is restricted by iOS) and the app "creates" a new device in your account which cannot be linked with the first one by any means.
