BitDefender 10.0 Nominated for RetailVision Award

BitDefender�, an award-winning provider of antivirus software and data security solutions, announced today that BitDefender v10.0, the latest version of the company�s flagship product line, was nominated for RetailVision�s Best Software Product Award. The award, along with the recent announcement of a technology alliance between BitDefender and Internet Security Systems (ISS), caps the company�s most successful month in the U.S. and Europe in terms of customer growth, product announcements and corporate partnerships.

Continuing to build on the ongoing success of its product lines, BitDefender�s BitDefender v10.0 product line was nominated for a �Best of RetailVision Award� under the category of Best Product Software. BitDefender v10 offers new enhancements and capabilities, including a powerful new rootkit detector, HTTP traffic scanning capabilities, a privacy protection module, and several additional features.
