Windows network services might be stopped after Downadup removal process
This situation is caused because either the malware was cleaned from the local computer or because a remote computer tried to infect the local machine. As a result, the file sharing Windows services were stopped, in order to avoid network spreading.
In this case, we strongly recommend you to perform a scan on all your network computers, using our special network tool, which is available here.
While creating the deployment steps, we strongly recommend you to choose the option: "Force the target computer to reboot" .
For more instructions on how to use our tool, please read our special article, available here.
Also, as a best practice we would recommend you to set the following actions for the Real Time Protection module of the Bitdefender Business Client :
1) The on-access scan should have the option "Deny access and continue" set;
2) The on-access scan should scan all files;
A full system scan should be scheduled from Bitdefender Management Console, followed by a system reboot.
