Bitdefender Business Client deployment options
Bitdefender Client Security is an easy to use business security and management solution, which delivers superior proactive protection from viruses, spyware, rootkits, spam, phishing and other malware. It offers the following components: Bitdefender Management Server (with/without add-on), Bitdefender Local Update Server, Bitdefender Business Client and Bitdefender Management Agent.
1. Install Bitdefender Business Client using a policy
After defining and organizing managed computers into groups, you can start deploying the client products. You do not have to actually install them. Just create a policy corresponding to a client product and assign it to run on managed computers or on entire groups of managed computers. If the product is not already installed on the managed computer, it will automatically be installed before the policy is applied.
Note: Do not apply Bitdefender Business Client policies on the company servers!
Deployment Tool helps you automatically install, remove or repair Bitdefender products on remote network computers. This tool also enables you to create unattended installation packages for use on offline computers (or when remote installation fails).
Note: Bitdefender Business Client is a security solution designed to protect workstations only and it will not install on Windows Server operating systems. To protect the company servers, use Bitdefender Security for File Servers.
