| UPDATE [2005-16-11]: http://beta.bitdefender.com was born Given the fact that a more improved interface was needed, a GForge based website was born. The bugs will be posted (and rated) there by the priority field (which can only be set by the judges) while the unix-mailservers@bitdefender.com mailing list will be kept for chatter and perhaps support. The beta test schedule is laid out as follows: October 15: Beta testing registration period begins. Beta testers are invited to subscribe to the program and participate in pre-testing discussions, with developers on the mailing list. November 15: The beta version of BitDefender Mail Protection for Enterprises is released to the beta-testing community and delivered via http. On this day, the beta testing campaign begins officially. Bug reports can now be submitted at http://beta.bitdefender.com, Please note that beta testers are welcome to register, download and begin testing even after the official start of the campaign. 15 November - 15 January: This is the actual beta-testing and contest period. During this period, bugs will be received, classified and listed by BitDefender devs and testers and posted on the beta mailing list. Beta testers are encouraged to hit the lists often, as bugs, fixes and rankings will be updated in real time. January 15: Beta Testing ends and Judges start giving out preliminary results January 20: The winners are announced. The final rankings will be available on this date.
