The Antimalware Lab is looking for a few talented Malware Researchers to help combat today's as well as tomorrow's increasingly sophisticated malware. Malware Researchers are responsible for developing and maintaining the core security components that are used in Bitdefender products. Our team is high-talent and high-energy, creating new technologies that must achieve the best detection and disinfection in the marketplace.

  • Perform dynamic and static analysis of malicious binaries to determine their characteristics;
  • Develop new malicious code analysis and detection tools;
  • Automate the analysis of malicious code;
  • Write articles, whitepapers, training and presentations
  • Educate co-workers, customers and the public at large.


  • Programming experience in C ;
  • Experience in reverse engineering x86/64 assembly;
  • Strong foundation in algorithms.


Would be appreciated:

  • Good knowledge of network protocols (layer 7, HTTP, FTP, POP3, SMTP);
  • Good knowledge of Java and Android SDK.
  • Knowledge of IDA and OllyDbg;
  • Programming experience Python or Perl;
  • Knowledge of windows internals (xp, vista, 7).
