JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Linux team within Bitdefender is looking for a passionate kernel developer to help bring security technologies to this fast growing platform.
JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
- • help port various technologies written for other kernels (eg. Windows);
- • help create new technologies;
- • write network drivers (eg. for traffic capture);
- • write Linux applications;
- • help integrate with KVM and/or Xen at the kernel level;
REQUESTS:
Qualifications:
- • 4 years working experience on Linux (user level);
- • previous experience with writing Linux kernel modules;
- • very good C knowledge;
- • good C++ knowledge;
- • very good knowledge of the Linux architecture;
- • very good bug-fixing skills;
Skills required:
- • high personal standards and a passion for quality-driven development;
- • good knowledge of the English language;
- • quick learner;
- • self-motivated;
Pluses:
- • good shell scripting knowledge;
- • good knowledge of Python or Perl;
- • basic knowledge of Windows kernel development;
