BitDefender enters partnership with Mapae
As of today, all BitDefender products will be distributed in Korea through the Korean software distribution firm Mapae Information, which has signed a partnership agreement with BitDefender to that effect. As part of the partnership deal, BitDefender solutions will be localised, thus creating the first Korean edition of a European antivirus.
"We are confident that corporate and individual customers in Korea will be secured from viruses and spam mail using powerful BitDefender security solutions. We will do our best to promote BitDefender products and to support BitDefender customers in Korea," declared Jae Hyuck Lee, Mapae Planning Manager.
"Our cooperation with Mapae has begun on excellent terms, and I'm certain it will continue in the same manner. We are glad that our products and technologies can now reach the Korean market, largely due to the support we've received from Mapae. Moreover, as far as our strategic push into the Asian markets goes, this is another important step forward," stated Bogdan Irina, BitDefender Worldwide Sales and Marketing Manager.
