BitDefender Enters Japanese Tux Market

Partnership with SoftAgency Targets Linux Segment

As part of a campaign to bring the full range of BitDefender products to Japan, BitDefender and Japan-based solutions provider SoftAgency have struck an agreement by which SoftAgency will become a distributor of BitDefender solutions for the Enterprise Linux and the embedded Linux server providers market niches.

"The Japanese open source software market is growing every year. Our partnership makes it possible that the market becomes more secure and useful," declared Satoshi Tatsuoka, SoftAgency CEO.

"It's our first serious foray into the Japanese security software market, and I can see great potential in this deal. The campaign could hardly have had a better start, and I hope that we will soon be able to distribute the whole range of BitDefender products through Japanese partners," added Bogdan Irina, BitDefender Worldwide Sales and Marketing Manager.
