"Romania CHIP Awards 2002" have been decided by readers vote, objectively screening the satisfaction degree of the IT&C users. In the category "Security software", the competition was unmistakably dominated by BitDefender Professional v.6.4, this product triumphing over other 9 from the competitor products.
From the 3284 respondents to CHIP Magazines poll, 32.5% considered that BitDefender Professional has achieved the proposed criteria. These were:

7. Reputation of the brand / producer
8. Good tests results.
"The prize awarded by CHIP Magazine, as it was designated by readers vote, reveals the BitDefender customers satisfaction degree and confirms the value of the services offered by our experts, Daniel Ionescu, Data Security Division Manager at SOFTWIN declared at the Awards Ceremony. "BitDefender advanced technologies, recently awarded by the European Commission experts for groundbreaking innovation, are now verified by the public reaction and thus receive a vox populi", concluded Daniel.
Most interesting is that most of the survey participants - 43% - come from the age category of 24-36 years.
